New CarPC project Question
I have been collecting parts for the last few weeks and plan on doing a car PC install. I have the PC built and the screen ready and am trying to decide where to mount my Xenarc 700TSV. I am thinking nav cubby is going to be alright.
At the same time I will be installing new speakers and two amplifiers to drive the front and back speakers. How does using the speaker level input from the HU sound into an amp with speaker level inputs? Should I use a line output converter instead? Or is that what is built into the amp? Should I use my clarion EQ?
If anyone can answer any of these questions it would be much appreciated

Q1) Should I use a line output converter instead? Or is that what is built into the amp?
A1) Yes, the amplifier has the same circuit installed.
S2) At the same time I will be installing new speakers and two amplifiers to drive the front and back speakers.
A2) Why not go with a four channel amplifier vice a pair of two channel amps.
Q3) Should I use my clarion EQ?
A3) Depends, if you do you'll have to convert the speaker level outputs to line level inputs for the equalizer. Or find a head end that has line level outputs.
S4) I am thinking nav cubby is going to be alright.
A4) Sounds good. There's enough room in there and the heat load isn't too bad. If you're concerned mount a fan or two to blow air in and out of the cubby dumping the air into the rather large area that the cubby sits inside.
