Default Built myself a stealth box + 350ZR Box

I had some time to kill the other day so I figured I'd try something new. I built this box for my Z and it came out pretty nice & sounds great. The sub is totally hidden when the hatch is down.

I never tried a design like this because I figured a half way decent sub wouldn't fit in that spot.....ends up the Type R 6.9" deep dropped right in.

Nice...very clean. What is the volume of the actual enclosure for the Type-R?

Your right....I dont want JL knocking on my door.
I think we'll call it the "Type S" box.

The box was right around .80 cubes. (Typre R Sub 0.5-0.8)
I wish it could have been larger but its a tight fit in there.

Thanks Mike

That will fit with no problems.... I normally cut the mounting hole at 9.125 but I can adjust it to your needs.(probably any sub up to 6.9" deep will fit) Do you know the recommended airspace for that sub?

thanks mike

Thats it...I can easily reduce the airspace for that sub to make it ideal.
I will have them on eBay (www.zenclosures.com) in a couple days or you can call in your order at 1-866-896-2862.

BTW...we are designing the 350ZR box tomorrow.

thanks mike

Default New 350zr design

I've had alot of requests for a 350ZR box........

This has to be the smallest trunk I've ever worked in which kinda limited me on the design ....here's what I cam up with.

Big Thanks to Jen from the 350z Club of Florida for lending us her 350ZR today!
