Default OBDII protocols

Are Nissans different somehow than other manufactures in how it communicates using OBDII? Where can I find the details?

TIA

shouldn't be. Some car makers have additional codes (e.g. GM), but you can still access the basic info throught any OBD II scanners.

I have a digimoto and I have used it on Nissans and Toyotas.
