Default Electrical experts - Potentiometer Question

Would this device control the volume to a subwoofer amp ?

If so, should it be installed on a line level input line or speaker line ?

Line level!

Speaker level would smoke that thing in a few seconds. Many subwoofer amplifiers come with a remote bass control ability with a tiny little volume control in a tiny box.

Got a question, you using stock head unit with aftermarkit amp? Or all aftermarkit stuff?

My original post was in regards to a system I'm installing in my Chysler 300C. For some stupid reason, Chrysler has the BASS going to the door speakers and 100 Hz + (on up) going to the rear deck. I'm gonna branch off of the door speakers for my subwoofer amp. I ended up getting a PAC LC-1 so I could adjust the subwoofer volume (fade).

In my 350Z I tapped the head unit's output to my rear speakers. I couldn't be happier. LOTS of 20 Hz to 10 Hz bass.
