Not yet, gonna have to give me a week or so to finish my install and test it. On the quote:

Not totally true, Yes it does say "Please enter a destination" when it starts up, but you can still press go and your current location will be shown on the map along with street names. Have to test it in motion to see if it tracks, but pretty sure it does since it shows me on the map.
