I need to buy a LCD screen for my storage area, what size will fit perfectly without any customizing? I've heard 2 sizes, 5.8 and 7.. which is right? Anyone who has done it, PLEASE post a pic so I can see how it fits.

 

yeah? i heard 6.5 fits without any mods. that's what i was going to get. now i'm confused! haha. someone who has done it....tell us the right answer.

 

There are a lot of "screens" that fit that storage compartment. Jus tbe sure that wherever you buy from has an open box return policy and keep going back until you find one you are satisfide with, and dont go cheap just to do it, buy the best one (not most expensive one though, price doesnt always reflect quality)

come on ricky, you shoulda asked, 7" fits perfect, when I say fits, I mean the SCREEN, not the frame, I believe 5.8 fits with the frame around it. I dont want the frame personally.

I cant say xenarc is best since mine wont friggin work, but 7" fits PERFECTLY. you can see my pictures, as well as another person with a xenarc 7" in the electronic forum.

 

Both of these models fit perfectly with no mods. Sorry don't have the pic but I found the info and wrote it down and later found the screens. I will post pic as soon as I receive mine and install it. I did however find the pics in this forum.
