Default I'd like to see pics of mounted aftermarket HUs

I'm looking at replacing my headunit. However, almost all the HUs on the market now have 2 big faults IMHO. #1 is that almost all of them are blue. Who the hell thought that blue is the best interior color!? Anyway, there are a few that change colors. #2, and this is the big one, they all stick out of the dash by quite a bit. I'm hoping that those of you who have replaced your HUs can post some pics here of how flush or not flush you were able to get them mounted. I can't bring myself to get it replaced if they all stick out half an inch.

Thanks all!

I got this head unit for $250. It changes color and sits flush mount. It also plays mp3s and has a 60 watt amp built in (this is good for us that don't want to spend the to time install another amp)

Alpine 7894

Sorry, its a bit blurry...

Do you know which brand the mounting kit is? Metra? BestKits? It looks nice and flush! I am going to be installing my Alpine 9815 soon, and I don't want the mount kit to look crappy!

Default My HU and FM Controller for KEg

Enclosed is my Alpine 7995. It is last years model, but still in current production. Choose it for the Silver trim.

Below is the Kewood FM Modulator for controller for my Kenwood Music Keg.

Kit is by Metra.

I also have the 7995 but havent put it in yet. I know the main color of that head unit is that ice blue color, how does that contrast with the orange gauges? Does it look good at night?

Here is my Head Unit I installed a week after I bought the car. Its a Pioneer 9300. Worth over $500 new, I will sell mine for $250 shipped. It comes with a steering wheel remote also.

I have since upgraded with a Pioneer AVIC/N1 DVD/Nav system.
