Default Jl 450/4??

I had a question.....I had a JL 300/2 pushing boston pro 60's. I am now getting some polk sr 6500's custom fabbed in my kicks. I really wanted to go with some rear fill (for loudness and sound quality). Is the JL 450/4 too much or will the 300/4 do the trick? Also what speakers (brand name) should I run in the rear? Just regular coaxils or components? Thanks in advance....

are you saying yo wanna REPLACE the 300/2 with the 450/4? or acutally use the 450/4 in conjunction with the 300/2? if its the altter, no need for the 450/4, infact, i would just power a cheap set of coaxial int he rear off the headunit...it doenst do much if any, except to distract from the front stage, and since you are going to have such a nice front stage....no need to put anyhing good int he rear, a 100 dollar or less set of coaxials would do fine if you really want rear stage, rear fill is osething completely different in technical terms

300/2 and the 450 will have the same amount of power for your fronts. What you should do is get another set of polk sr6500's mount them coax for the rears. Put the 300/2 on them and use the 450/4 biamped on the front 6500's if you really want to do it the right way BTW... nice speaker choice
