Default one more simple little install for you guys :)

jsut gone done with another IS350, not as fancy as the one i did before, just a clean and neat little one

goals:

1. great sound quality while maintaining stock HU
2. relatively stealthy look but maintaining full access to the spare tire

The front stage is a pair of DLS ultimate UR36i 3 way components, the 6.5" midbass is sealed in the door via a pair of enclosure cups, and the mid and tweet are in custom built suede trimmed kick panels. the doors are also dampened

annoying to do but the rear deck stock subwoofer was removed to get better bass into the cab in

the DLS remote bass control module resides int he stock astray location

moving on the trunk, here is the normal view, as you can see, nothing fancy, just a fake wall carpeted

pop out the center grille, unlatch and pull out the bottom though, a 10w6 and a DLS reference RA50 5 channel amp show through red suede just to give a bit of uniqueness to the install

and here you see the spare tire is fully accessible

and one more behind the scene picture of the HUGE amounts of wiring behind the amp rack, tied up neatly and bundled so the drawer would slide in and out without a problem

overall, sounds quite good with the stock headunit, and in the IS, the front stage yields an extremely solid center image and dash high stage

Nice Install. Especially the amp "drawer"

Question: Does the amp get "heat up" in the custom drawer? Any concerns with ventilation of the amp? or is there a fan somewhere in that install?

Beautiful job.

I was gonna ask you about cooling it in the drawer. Then I saw the very last pic. Very nicely done.
