Default Traction control Module

I was looking through KPTECHNOLOGIES.COM and found a traction control module . It gave a discrition of what it does but I have no idea what it's talking about. Please help me understand this.

It turns off some VDC functions on your car, if so equipped.

Well my car is an at trans. And it does have vdc. What will I gain from this?

It's a "permanent" ON/OFF switch for VDC. If you press the stock VDC (or TCS) Off button, it's off until you press it again or turn the car off. Next time you start the car, it's back on by default.

The KP Tech module remembers the last state of the VDC (On or Off) so the next time you start your car, it automatically resets VDC to that state. People who don't like to have to turn if off all the time love this mod.
