I'm looking at upgrading my sound system in the Track.. I have already brought the subwoofer grill from nissan so I can keep the stock look.. Not looking for competiton sounds. Or building enclosures


I also have two amps that I wil use to power my drivers.. I'm still trying to decide on the Kenwood KDC-959 or KDC 969.. I will also put a Kenwood Music Keg in..

What seperates are guys using upfront. What size and what will fit? Crutchfiled say I can use 6 3/4' has anybody done this..

Also What what are guys using for the rear... Seperates or Co-ax?? Also what sizes

All suggestions welcomed.. please give brands and model number if you can. Thanks

 

ALso what sub are you dropping in teh stock hole behind the driver seat.. and is it built for an enclosure that is port? How do you like the sound

I wouldnt put too much thought into kenwood amps or subs, they get loud but dont expect very good sound quality. I would probably look for a JL W3, Image Dynamics, Elemental design K, or even Pioneer subs. All of these subs should be around $100, also dont install it in the Bose compartment. Look for a groupbuy somehwhere in this forum for a fiberglass box in the rear trunk, that will sound about 10x better. The fronts are 6.5, get seperates over coaxial because you will get better imaging and a more dispersed sound
