Default I need better box for my sub

i got an mtx 9500 but the box they made for it sux! its sealed and it looks like the sub bearly fits in the box. they mounted the box behind the rear speakers and before the strut tower but its an actual box. anyone got any box blueprints for a more better constructed one that is ported.

You ought to build the box to match the speakers - the subwoofer(s) is (are) designed to work against a certain size of box in a range. The air trapped behind the speaker acts as a spring and improves the sound quality. Too big a box or too small of a box will give you wildly differing sounds.

Default enclosure

he wants ported not sealed

there is an answer to that

i am waiting for him to tell me if his 9500 is 10" or 12"

cause he can do 1 12" ported square or circle , his would be a circle cause 9500 is round

but for anyone with kickers i have the answer

and if he has 10" he can even do 2 ported

there is a box that fits all these situations

not mdf but hdf

and very effiecient

and very deep and loud

i will get all the info when he chimes back in
