What I am looking for is a interface that will allow me to hook my video Ipod into my 06 BOSE NAV system. It'd be sweet to watch my music videos on the Nav screen.
Anyone seen something like this. Why go with another DVD player when a video Ipod will do it.

can this configuration work?
Hi guys, the site should be renamed 350z:nuts and bolts...
Now ,my rather -complicated for nothing- question.I have the orange premium pack 350z (in Greece) with the Bose unit.
1)Since i own the portable navi system with mp3 capabilities Mitac Mio c510e
(europe maps) i was wondering if with the PA11 adaptor will work along with Bose, and i can use the system for mp3 listening.
2)If it does,(MIO-PA11-BOSE)can i place the AUX line through the center console storage bin,so i can put the Mio there?
P.S.Before you laugh at me, i can say that i cannot purchase an expensive navigation unit whitch will be only decorative at the greek island i live, and use it only once in my forthcoming big trip to central Europe. Thanks in advance.

Ok, I got it now. I was searching for an 07 and didn't see it. So how is everyone mounting the ipod itself, or where are you guys putting it. Sounds like this one is gonna get bought soon.

PA-11 NIS installed
I just installed my PA-11 NIS today, and so far I'm really happy. I'm running it in direct mode, so I select artist/album/track in the iPod and control everything else from the head unit or wheel controls. One nice touch is that the head unit's mute button will pause the iPod. Pretty sweet!
Installation was fairly painless. Took a little over 2 hours, and I was being very meticulous. Once the console was out, connecting the unit itself was a piece of cake. Speaking of removing the console, the best write up I found is on 350z Tech. He's working on an 03-05, but the process was nearly identical for my 06.
Anyone who's looking for easy iPod integration for their Z without installing a new head unit that screams "steal me!" should take a look at the PA-11 NIS.

so this does work on a 07 non bose? when you select 07 on there site, they only recommend the wireless ones. not the direct connect one. is that because they dont think it works with 07 or just don't know?
thanks
