Hey Guys,

haven't really bothered to mess with it, but aren't the the lights supposed to switch on when the car lights are switch on. Cause my unit stays the same when the lights are off and on.

Most head ends require a connection to the dash illumination circuit now. It would appear that your's is missing that connection or that you've selected day-time illumination by-pass. The Pioneer AVIC N2 has such a menu feature and I assume that so does your deck.

 

well another here is a purple (maybe pink) wire that isnt connected on the back.

Is this a easy fix ?

What model AVN do you have?

 

I think its the 2454 NAV, DVD, MP3 CD all that stuff

It is an easy fix...

OK... Make sure to connect the orange/white wire...
