Default Weird issue - car swallowed CD

I have a very weird problem... I put a CD in my Bose headunit. It totally jammed, made some weird noises etc. After some time of playing around with it, the unit started working again.

However, the CD never ejected.

I can still insert / eject 6 CDs. But I'm 100% certain the "missing" CD is still in there. I fear it dropped off its bay or whatever and has fallen to the base of the unit.

Am I the first person this has ever happened to? Any fixes that can be suggested? (I'd like the CD back!)
