Question Beltronics Vector 995 reads service required

I don't know what im supposed to do it keeps flashing service required Does anybody have this radar detector and had the same issue? Is it time to upgrade to a Passport or a valentine one? Please help me out, I gotta have a functional radar detector

I have this detector but haven't had any problems...........I have the manual and it says when the service required is showing that it has failed the calibration test and to contact Beltronics. Here's the number you need to call.....1-800-341-2288. The manual says they may be able to solve the problem over the phone......good luck

Bels and Escorts are known to have this problem just check the link below. There are about 7 pages discussing "service required" problems with Bels and Escorts.

Yeah, my Bel Pro RX65 flashes "Self Cal3" and then after a while it flashes "Service Required".. Been doing that a while, but I leave it off for a few days and it functions normally again.
