Default Dragster --> What is it?

So I'm in the shop looking to upgrade my sound system...their #1 suggestion is these Dragster component speakers. I've heard of someone with a Dragster amp, once... but, other than that, I know nothing about the company.

Their website is www.dragsteraudioart.com... apparently Italian.

My research hasn't given me much, except one post on a forum saying "Dragster is really rare and good, made in Italy, blahblah." Who knows how credible that is...?

If anyone knows anything about Dragster or (even better!) has had experience with Dragster stuff, please share!

Thanks!
JJ

thanks for the link

well that confirms one thing...there's not a lot of info out there :P At least that proves that some people have them... and as one post says, "better known in Europe." One guy asking the same question as I am, but nobody responded to him either.

the place that's recommending them is pretty reputable, but I just wish I could find someone who had some concrete info on the company or the speakers or something...

the people on that forum were all upgrading or selling the stuff they had. And one guy points out the in-line fuse would be very low if the amps wattage rating was legit.

Okay, I'll admit... kinda sketchy. Still, this shop usually knows their stuff, so... Hmmmm. I'll cross my fingers and hope somebody on here has a pair or something!

no need to find out...i have heard the stuff...

oretty good, perhaps just a notch below audison? when it comes down to high quality italian amps, audison and dragster are two that immediately come to mind.

perhaps you can think of it in car terms lol, if audison is ferrari, then dragster could be maserati

either way, i dont have any personal experience with installing it, but based on what i have heard in person a while back and talking to various people over hte years, i would definetly consider dragster as a high quality brand name

they dont have a lot of foothold here int he states, but seems to be better known in canada

i say go for it
