Points of rattle for people with subs...
I wanted to get a list of rattle points that people with subs have noticed. I have dynamatted most of the back of the car.
First rattle I have tracked down seems to be coming from the door to the compartment behind the passengers seat.
Anyone else have any to add?

I added 2 bulk packs of dynamat to my car - did the entire hatch, strut tower, door panels, firewall, etc.
I just put in my sub recently, and the first place I have seemed to notice a rattle at sounds like it is coming from near the visor, like the sunglasses holder (nope - nothing in there...)

doesn't it **** you off when you dynomatted the WHOLE trunk, and doors and the only sound that rattles is from the visor area, which you can't do anything about? that sucks..
The visor rattle is a common problem. The rattle in my car came from the spring inside the mirror light switch. If you go to the dealer, they will replace them(L and R) with a up dated version. I had both of mine replaced. I believe there is a service bulletin.
Dynamat will not help these rattles (in fact it has nothing to do with interior rattles).
Speaking from experience, you guys will have rattles until the day your car dies. This is just a fact when you put extreme lows in a car. NOTHING is rattle proof. You just have to get used to it. One day its the visor, you may tighten it and it gets better, then the next day its the rear view mirror and so on.
The only cure - turn up the stereo to drown out the rattle!
