Bose display MP3 titles?

Default Bose display MP3 titles?

Mine does not. It jsut shows the track numbers on an MP3 disk.

I have not tried a MP3 disc yet, but I will sometime today and see if it works!

Yes, it certainly displays them. You just have to be sure your ID3 tags are accurate since that is what it (and every HU for that matter) looks for.

Thanks! I was sure all my mp3's have are tagged but I will double check.

I have checked and all my MP3s have tags. When I click the "DISP" button, nothing happens. No beep, no thing. This button works when in radio mode though (it changes RDS displays in radio mode.

Can someone verify that it is supposed to display MP3 tags?

As I said, yes it does display them. Check the owner's manual if you must confirm. The display button toggles between track/artist/album/or the default track time display. There is no beep, IIRC.

looking at the sigs.. i would say 2006 and up.. i know my 03 head unit didn't play mp3's

Doug is correct, '06+ Zs w/ Bose are mp3-ready.

OP, one thing I'd like to add to my post above is that you have to press and hold the 'Display' button for the screen to toggle between track title, album title etc. Forgot to mention that.
