I have a rather simple question, I have a JL 500/1 pushing a w7...I would like to know how to turn it up...my components are blasting over the bass. A couple of months ago, I remember my installer saying he turned down the bass. I think this should be pretty simple but I looked at the back of the amp and there are like 50 ***** to turn, before I touch anything, which one increases the volume?

the small tab called "input sens" towards the right side, that is the gain, you can turn it clock wise to make it "louder" but just watch it and you are not turning up so much that it starts to distrot.

the bass eq can also gain you slight increase in volume, bu ti suggest leavig it alone for now, as you can easily do something bad by mis-turning it, play with the gain first and see how it goes
