CDA-7876

(wow, only a couple years ago, this was the best CD HU (not MP3 or DVD) player, now it has already been replaced and surpassed several times). I guess "keeping up" in car audio is impossible.

I know Alpine is supposed to be a great brand, but I cant get over the fact that they are all just plain ugly.

That's one of the main reasons I want to go with this Alpine....it's look! I like the way the brushed aluminum matches the interior pieces of the car.

I do like those colors a lil more, but my main gripe is that everything is really squared off (looks like it was made in the '80's)

But to each his own...

LOL, I don't know what you run, but almost EVERYTHING out there looks like a freakin gameboy, kids game or something. Alpine looks like REAL audio equipt, with some brushed aluminum and not a lot of gimmicks.

I run a $20k home unit, so I am veeeeeeeeery picky about my audio gear, everything else at the time seemed to look like a TOY. Plus Alpine sounds as good as anything out there as well.
