Are you able to install this unit so you can input new destinations and what not and also play DVD's while driving?

I spoke with an audio shop this weekend and he said he wasn't sure about this unit but you aren't able to on the new Kenwood D3. He said you were able to on all earlier models but not with the new D3? So, that kind of makes me think it's the same with the 7100.


Also, the same audio shop quoted me $200.00 to install this. Doesnt that seem a little high?

It is in the high range, PM me and we might be able to work something out. You can install it so you can do what you want it to do very easily.
