I see a lot of single and dual 10's but dont see to many 12" boxes. I really like the under the strut design but would rather have a 12" over a 10" .

Unfortunatley you can not fit a 12" sub "under" the strut bar with a Zenclosure.....I tried. So I opted for 2 10's cuz I wanted the enclosure flush with the strut bar. Now you can mount a Kicker S10L7 sub under the bar and that gives you close to a 12" round sub's surface area. Read this review....
"Kicker S10L7 stands out from all other subwoofers with is rare square shape! So its square so what? Since it is square and not a circle it has 20% more surface area then a 10" round sub! What does all this mean? The more surface area a sub has the more air it can move, the more air it moves the louder it is! This results in making the S10L7 hit like a 12" round sub would!"

A 10" square is still ~ 20% less cone area than a standard 12"er ... but a pair of 'em ... now you're talking

This box is custom made by xtremekustoms on ebay. You will have to do a search since he doesent post them on ebay anymore due to demand. I bought one from him a few months ago and its a damn nice enclosure. It has about 1.25 cu ft of internal space.

I have a JL Audio 12W3V3 in it and it sounds awesome! It sounds way better than the Alpine 10 I had in there. Its twice as loud, twice as deep, and hits twice as hard!

 

if you need an under the strut

i think they have one for 1 each 12" square

get a kicker 12" solo x

you can feed it up to 5000 watts

that should be loud & deep
