Question alpine touch screen

Juts bought a complete system including and alpine touchscreen for the hu. Is there anything other I need besides the dash install kit and wiring harness? Do touch screens wire up just like a normal cd player? Yes I feel very stupid but I don't want to screw my car up and u guys seem very smart about these cars.

yeah the only thing different relaly is the parking brake wire...

you can get a pac TR7 module to by pass it, or you can put it on a switch, but it needs to see no power, then power, then no power, or was it the other way around, anyway, you need to flip the switch a few times. the TR7 does it automatically for you.

just do a search on the TR7

www.pacaudio.com

other than that it should be basically the same, expcet finding a place to do the brain and extending the wires, that is if its a single din flip out if its a double din there is no such thing

last question. all the aux and video plugs are just extras since I'm not going to run a ps2 or anything like that correct? Basically the only difference for me on wiring is the parking brake. Sorry for all the questions, I just don't want it to get screwed up because I've never done this before but want to know how to do it myself...thx

yup...if you arent outputing to a screen, or have anyhing coming in as inputs, the parking brake wire is your only difference from a normal eadunit
