Default hidden dvd player

So I have a 7'' screen already, a single din cd/mp3 player and i love the look. I don't want to put a dvd player under the cd player unless i have to because i like the look, the storage, and it gets damn hot on road trips. anyone use a half din under the seat, glove box, or the back storage compartments (would like this best)? any ideas or pictures would be great. I have only seen one set up with cd player and dvd player under it. thanks

my sigle din plays DVDs, but unlike you, I hate the look of mine (previous owner installed it and tha 5.8" screen). I recall seeing a few members that put players in the small compartments above the glove box.

You can probably install in the nav pocket. You can buy the brackets. Here are some pix (note these are pix of a Pioneer Nav unit but you can install a single DIN dvd player):

Jon,

do you have any heat issues using that cubby? Looks like a perfect clean setup!

the computer is slightly larger (longer) than the cubby so I had to cut the cubby to accomidate it and nearly all the cooling for this case is done though the back so this helps with air flow... it also cools via conduction through the aluminum of the case. I've been running this for almost a year and never had a heat issue.

I purchased a half din, just guessing that i can find some way to put it in the cubby above the glove box with a few cuts and screws...cooling through the back as well. While I want a nice clean looking set up...i also don't want a busted window because someone wants that clean system. going for a system that fits in all the stock locations (sub in the original spot, etc)

I have a 1/2 DIN SAVV in my map compartment behind my passenger seat. Had to cut out the back of the compartment, but the screws that come with it are more than enough to hold it in place. It is easy to wire in and run the cables to the front. Plus the SAVV comes with a remote IR sensor so it can be run to another location and can look even more stock. I am running my IR sensor just under the steering wheel so I can point the remote at the screen and control the DVD player in the rear of the car.
