It will not mess up anything, but it just isnt needed.

With a larger box comes lower power handling, and boomier sound.

you can add more wood to the box to reduce the volume, but it shouldnt be needed.

floors and hatch?...hmmm I think you should also consider the doors...but just floors and hatch all you need I would say 4-5 yards... but i'm not too sure about how they have their stuff cut...you might have to ask someone who has used it before, because I used the Raamat.

Actually have the doors dynamatted already. Thats why i was thinking just doing the floor and hatch for now. See how it turns out then if i think the doors need a little more, than go from there.

OH, and how many sq. ft. is in a yard.....

well wouldn't it have to be sq. yards?....

but anyway...if you buy the Raamat...you will have enough to do the entire car... as far as the ensolite 4 yards is enough fro your application.

Any good DIY threads on taking everything apart, etc? I searched through several pages but didnt see anything.

Saw the sticky thread at the top but none of the links seem to work.

There's a link on another 350Z forum to download the service manual for your car. It should have the diagram somewhere in there for removal of the carpet.

On this note.. Anyone got tips for applying the sticky first layer of deadening? I've never done it yet but it kind of sounds like its so sticky that once it touches something its down. How do you get it equally spread?

just cut a good size piece and put it in place...just like a puzzle...it's really simple...just don't cut too big a piece because then it might not go down too easy.

Has anyone ever used the Edead v4 closed cell foam over Raamat BXT?

Just want to know if the Edead will stick as good or not since they're made by 2 different companies...

If everything will be OK then I will be applying Edead v4 over the Raamat on my doors.
