viper, clifford and dei are essentially the same thing.. they are all made by dei.. along with avital, python, hornet, merlin, autostart, automate, astroflex, and ready remote.. they are one of the leading alarm manufactures in the country..

I had lojack on my G35 before. It had some keychain thing where if someone started the car and the keychain thing wasn't in it, they police would be notified.

Well when I bought my car they through it in for free! Its great because your insurance goes down a little. But the keychain thing was kinda big though. Didn't like that factor too much. It was the size of a matchbox.

If your talking about the early warning system then its worth every penny..i have it in my z. and the police aren't the ones that get notified if your car is in motion without the key fob, you and 4-5 other people get a automated phone call from lojack telling you that your vehicle is in motion and it may be without your authorization. And the key fob isn't that "big"...its a little smaller then your oem keyless entry but just a tad bit wider...nothing worth crying over.

Lol well I'm a key, keyfob, and gym pass carrying type of guy. I hate bulky keys! But yeah as far as peace of mind goes, its very helpful.

Clifford is good but not for remote start if you have manual transmission...you always have to worry about if your car is in gear or neutral
