Most 10" subs will fit.
My Mmat's P3.0 fits in there, but I wouldn't mount it there because of the free air nature of the location. You have room to make a box there, its just disassembling the area to get it in that it is hard.
Whatever you do, if you make a free air (or "semi sealed") attempt be sure to not overpower the sub and use the low frequency cutoff on the amp. Its too easy to blow the sub without the air spring effect behind it.
