Flashing the DVD-Navigation software

I was wondering, can you flash the 2003 DVD system and upgrade to a 2007 6.5 DVD map? If yes, how do you go about doing it?

07 DVD's will not work with the 06's and below!

Ok, so if I get an 06 DVD for the navi ..I still have to flash my 03 system, so where can I get info on how to do this and where to get the software etc..?
