what do u do with the Remote On wire if u want to hook up an amp to the stock HU??

 

I have the same question about the bose system?

 

I've ask that here, but one gave any response. But I've read from other install site that you could hook it up to your antenna.

 

we don't have a remote on lead, we have no power antenna. I have my amp wired to the cigarette lighter in the rear console, so it;s on when the car is on. I also have, but haven't installed, a low voltage trigger (LVT) from peripheral electronics, which I plan to eventually use off of the speaker output of the head unit as a remote switch. Used this in my Saab and it worked great.

 

so that means i can also wire it to the HU 12v wire right?
