Is the BOSE sub the only one that will fit behind the driver seat?

 

anyone have some idea? i tried to fit a JL 10W0 and it didnt fit so now im looking for other options

 

What was the problem with the JL? I know the bracket is made for a 10 sub. Being honest, I have never used any JL equipment,,,,but from what I understand and experienced,,,the bracket is made for a 10 sub.

Also,,,,I am not sure what kind of sound you are looking for,,,but a sub mounted to the factory bracket (free-air) is not going to give you much.

If you are set on using that location for your sub,,,I would check out WickedCAS (NAZAR),,here on the site....His company makes custom fiberglass enclosures for that space and the pass side glove box area.

You should be able to fit any 10" sub in there. To mount it you will either need to make a bracket that mounts to the factory holes or you can do like I did and just mount the sub right on the bracket with screws.

 

Yea it is made for a 10" but the holes didnt line up AT ALL and I couldnt really figure out how to make a bracket...any ideas on that fabrication?
