I was wondering if anyone has done a stealth install of the Passport 8500 with the smartcord similar to the ones that have been done with the Valentine1 see thread:

I thought this was a pretty cool way to conceal the unit but I haven't hear of anyone doing it with the Passport.

 

I guess this install method is unique to Valentine 1 owners. Maybe that's due to the remote providing more info than the Passport smartcord does.

When I receive my 8500 I am still going to consider this however because it seems like a great way to have it up all the time and not worry about people seeing it (especially when parked).
