Should I mount my tweeter angled?
I would like to do this flush mount:
however, I am concerned that I should used the angled mount that is a surface mount instead. That solution is uglier, but perhaps has better imaging? Please comment!

So I went coaxial. That was better, but I started thinking about kick panels and how tweeters belong out of my face and right next to the woofer. The only way to get the tweeter further away from me over the coaxs is to move it down lower. Having the path lengths between each speaker and the ears as equal as possible brings you closer to home stereo speakers, and the imaging you get from those speakers.
I have reservations about frequency attenuation with the tweeter down so low. The fact is that higher frequencies attenuate very easily. At this point, however, I would rather turn the treble a little up, than down alot.

on my jl audio xr650csi I had the crossover set as "low" as possible, and the treble on the car stereo was at zero (flat). Then I auditioned macintosh speakers in a friends truck with the same config. Still dont like the tweeter and woofer separated like that and with the tweet high up.
