Default Where to mount boost controller

I’m going to have a professional audio shop custom fabricate a mount for my HKS EVC boost controller. It will be flushed mounted. I’ve narrowed it to 2 locations where I’d like to have it mounted, but I’m having a difficult time deciding on which one.

Location #1 in between the thermostat controls and the gear shifter. Pros: Easy to read. Cons: Gear **** can get in the way and can get accidentally bumped if not careful.

Location #2 in place of the coin tray. Pro: Nice flush look and easy to access. Cons: Harder to read display because of angle.

Opinions and comments are welcomed.

Is it too big to put on the Audio? Between the display and the 6 buttons?

It's too big to fit there. Plus I will be getting a new HU in the near future.
