Default Help with sub choices

With my radio and screen installed (https://my350z.com/forum/audio-builds/265351-lets-see-ur-lcd-and-head-unit-setups-2.html) its time to get started on the rest of the system.

Heres my dilema, which would you guys go with, im going for a very clean sounding system with high sq but im still looking for it to be on the loud side.

The amp sunning my subs will be a PPI 2600

(amp specs)
150 WRMS x 2 @ 4W per channel

300 WRMS x 2 @ 2W per channel

600 WRMS x 1 @ 4W bridged

Now help me with sub choices here, should i go with one Elemental Designs 11Ov.2 or two Elemental Designs 11Kv.2 subwoofers? Which will yield me the best combination of sound quality and loudness. Either choice will be in a under strut sub enclosure.

Thanks for the help

No. Not even the manufacturer of that subwoofer thinks that! They continue to make a whole line of subwoofers, silly them.

How big is the box that you're mounting it inside of?

Google Thiel-Small, 'nuff said?

the box is the understrut design, .75 i believe. Both subs are rated for .5 but ive seen alot of guys on here running two K series subs. Thats really what my question is if i would be better of with one being closer to design specs? or go with two and get the same result or better?

You can run the calculations yourself using an Internet calculator you just need the Thiel-Small parameters which everyone provides. 0.5 + 0.5 doesn't equal 0.75 - the box is going to be too small and limit the woofers.

Here's my work sheet from a couple of years ago.

As for my sub decision, thanxs to z1truth ive decided to got with a single 10" fi SSD sub. I will let you guys know soon how it turns out. Have to wait for my enclosure to get here and then the sub.
