Hey, I just got some power/heated seats for my 06 base Z and I was wondering what has to be done to install them. The base model doesnt come with the correct wiring for power/heated seats since this was not an option in the base. Just trying to figure out what needed to be done for my seats to move!!

 

Check under the seats for a slit in the carpet for a wiring harness or a wiring harness connector. You might be in luck!

If not, I'd suggest getting a service manual (I don't have one or I would tell you) and see what pin's do what on the wiring harness on your seats. From there you can power up your seats.

i put some in my car. there is a 4 pin harness on the seat for movement you one use 2 of the wires, 1 power and 1 ground.. though i dont remember what colors.. all you will have to do is run a power and ground to each seat and you will have movement.. as far as the heaters go im not sure yet, i purchased the switches but have not gotten around to figuring out the wireing for them yet..
