Default dynomat & window grease tsb

Just got finished dynomatting the doors, and it occurred to me that some technician is gonna have to get in there to fix the window grease problem when / if I take it in.

I sure hope he won't have to rip off all the dynomat to replace the parts... just a thought.

Unless you covered some bolts on the door panel I'm sure he won't have to take the dynamat off. I've got over 2 sheets per door of dynamat and I'm going to add more once my dealer takes care of the window grease. I tried cleaning it myself but it was a moot point, it's way over greased...

Kevin,
They won't just be cleaning off the excess grease they will be installing a felt kit to correct the streaking problem.

I Dynamatted my boors (just the aluminum piece that you can remove. I made sure to leave the bolts visible. They did not destroy my Dynamat when they corrected the streaking issue.

Well that's even better news then. I should probably pay more attention to these types of things - lol. I've only bought one other new car and Honda never issues TSBs and the such (well they do but not very often and too me they are the best at 'ignoring' inherent problems... all for the sake of having a good buisness name in reliability).

Anyway, thanks for the info, it's greatly appriciated.
