Have my performance Z for more than a month now. When I first listened to the stereo, I was so sure that I would change the system someday. But after adjusted the treble to + 2 to the front, and ease the bass to 3, now that same suck *** stereo does not sound so bad anymore. Am I losing my mind? Anyway, I am quite happy with this system, but I would like to add more bass. Can I just add the Infinity Basslink to my standard HU, or do I need to change the HU?

You can get a gizmo to convert your line outs for rca.
If you can live with the stock speakers you could just tap into the rear speaker lines and hook up the rca converter there. That way you won't have to pull your whole console out.

With the infinity bass link you will have to run a power line directly from the battery to the sub.

btw. When you adjust the eq on your std radio does it produce a chirping sound when you raise or lower your bass or treble settings.
