Default Sub install with Non-bose HU

I have the non-bose HU and been wanting to install an aftermarket sub behind the drivers seat. Can someone explain the best way to get everything wired in to the HU. I have the sub/amp fitted and ready to go.

Thanks

High-Level outputs from the HU's rear speaker connection to the amp. I don't know how good this will sound.

Care to explain how to find these wires on the non-bose HU?

I don't think the stock HU has amp pre-outs. So you can't just output from the HU to the amp. He's suggesting you route the rear speakers into your amp since that might be the only option. What I did was get a cheap aftermarket HU (an Eclipse for ~$70) so that I could just output to the amp directly.

you get a decent step down, t's off your rear speaker wires, and converts that signal into an RCA output. works great if you get a good one, cheap ones sound like crap.
