I don't have any pics handy, but mine is in the cubby behind the driver's seat - I got a rack that fits perfectly from Mike at Zenclosures.

Is it ok to put it in the drivers cubby ontop the fuel pump like that? Im sure everyone puts a piece of wood down first, but how are you securing the wood to the car since the fuel cell is right underneath the drivers cubby?

Also do you leave it open or is it ok to closer her back up?

As I was putting it in, I had thoughts about the fuel pump / cell but just kept going. Probably will regret it but not yet.

I secured the wood and filled in and leveled the space using "Great Stuff" expanding foam insulating / sealing material that comes out of a spray can.

When it's wet it sticks to pretty much anything and everything. While it was still wet and expanding, I put the MDF down on top of it, put some 5 lb dumbells on top of the MDF and let it set for an hour while I was working the other side. I took the dumbells off and it would not budge.

I leave it closed up. I thought about getting some kind of clear lucite panel made that I could use for showing it but have not done anything like that yet. I also thought about trying to get a second glove box door and the associated parts and rigging it up on the driver's side so it would be easier to open.

I've heard of people using small cooling fans in the cubbies but I've never seen pictures. I raised up the amps using little 1" x 1" x 1" pieces of wood, painted black, mounted between the amp mounting points and the surface.

any 1 here have instruction of how to take out all those plastic cover behind the seats so i can hide the wires and amp etc. It would save a lot of times with instruction =) thanks again
To get everything except the rear speakers panel, off back there:
- pull up the narrow plastic trim pieces that sit between each seat and the door sill. Not the silver colored kick plates but just up from that, next to the seal. Start at one end and they pretty much just unsnap.

- pull up the rubber seal starting about the middle of the seat, moving back so you can pull the rear quater panel covers off.

- The quarter panel covers also just pull free. You have to give them a bit of a tug but I've never broken anything. Putting them back on is a little tricky but not a huge hassle.

- Remove the 2 screws (1 on each side) that fasten the rear end of the center console to the transmission hump. I believe there is a third screw under the coin holder thing. Having these out will allow you to raise the back end of the center console out of the way when taking the rear panel off.

- Remove the rear panel by starting at one end and pulling it out, one fastener clip at a time. Go slow and pull evenly. At some point, you can reach around and disconnect the cigarette lighter power connector. You can push it out through the front while it's still connected for an easier disconnect effort.

- Once all the rear panel fasteners are out, lift up the rear end of the center console a couple inches and slide the rear panel out.

^ that's the same as my installer built. It would be very easy to duplicate if he doesn't have any left.
