Image Dynamics ID 10-D2 vs. Elemental Designs 11Ov.2 D4
I can get a good deal on either of the above mentioned subs and cannot make a decision on either.
I will be mounting the sub in an understrut enclosure and feeding it 300 watts rms @ 2 or 4ohms of power from an Alpine PDX-4.150 (the front channels are being used by my Morel Dotech 6 MKII's ...)
Can someone offer me constructive advice on either? I am looking for smooth, clean bass, nothing boomy and I do not plan on playing the music at high volumes.
Thanks everyone...

thats not quite accurate.
the current version 3 ID10 hs more travel and more output than the IDQ...
but he is right in that those two subs arent comparable...mainly becuaes..
ID: highly efficient, decent small box performance, good sq, decent output
OV: requires more power (5-600 would be nice), requires larger box to go low, good sq, better output...
with your 300 watts, the ID is the better choice...or hte KV series from ED

Good, good... So Bing, can you PM me with a good price on any of the two suggested subs? You may be a better bet than my current possible seller.

I've even considered the Polk SR Series of subwoofers, but I think I'd be under powering them with the wattage I currently have available.

I need to make a decision soon, but don't want to jump the gun.
