Default Kenwood DDX6019 Installed

No pic of the outboard nav unit but it's in the little pocket (driver's side) in the upper part of the trim behind the seats. I situated it so I can easily slide the SD memory card in that's used for loading updates.

Thanks Armando for the tip on drilling new bracket holes and the dual DIN kit!

The place I got it from said that the newer model (7019 I think) was only $70 more and the nav unit is integrated so there's no separate module to deal with. Problem is they were out of stock. They also said Crutchfield had a half off sale on the compatible Sirius tuner. My last unit died about 2 weeks ago and I wanted to use this long weekend to get it done so I just went for it.

The data cable from the nav unit that runs back to the head unit has about 8inches of slack for the location I used. The cable that comes with the compatible Sirius tuner has about double that. Now that I think about it, mounting under the p side seat would have been a better place for the nav unit.

The front trim piece came from a $17.00 double din kit and I just wacked the middle dividing piece using a razor blade.
