How you liking your IVA-W205? I just installed my this past weekend. I got the kce-300bt but took it out lastnight. When i had my Ipod plugged in it had a hissing noise, once i disconnected the kce-300bt the hissing went away.

 

i like it, i'll like it more once the blackbird II comes out.. just wish i could control the video through the headunit instead of the ipod. i have a high speed ipod cable and a a/v ipod cable, sucks switching between the two.

Ok,,, let me get this straight about ipod
hu can only control ipod depending on the cable that is plugged in?
even if this is true, i guess i'll be fine since i only listen to music while driving... not watching the vide...

and do the buttons on hu change color to match our amber lights?

Comes with single din and double din kit.

I have a regular Ipod Mini and I can controll everything through the screen. No idea about the video ipods.

As for the amber color. No. There are 5 or 6 different on-screen colors (blue, red, black, etc) But the LED's are always blue. That's fine for me since I plan on getting blue gauge leds some day. (come on, amber vs. blue = blue)

I can't tell from the pics if the unit is sitting flush with the console but is it possible for this unit to sit flush with the console because I just recently got this unit installed and it sticks out, thanks guys

 

Hi, Mine sticks out too. I tried flush mounting it, but when the face started to come out it stopped got stuck at the top where the dash kit curves. I did notice in the first picture at the begining of the thread he has a different dash kit then the one im using and his has a curve at the top, or that it was custom made.
