Default help with a/c after headunit installation

i just installed a headunit in my 07 350z. the a/c works, but whenever i turn on the ac, the climate control would switch over to rec. air and when i turn off the ac, the climate control would switch back over to fresh air by itself. i've checked all the wires and everything seems fine. do you guys think i messed up the white ribbon that connects to the ac controls? do any of you guys know whats wrong?

Hum,,,I am trying to think of my 06 does this? I think it does. If I have my AC on and its on REC, and I want fresh air,,,I just push the button. I know the AC works best with the REC on......I will check it out today and post my results this afternoon. Again, I think this is normal.

im new to the z myself but as far as i know when u turn on the ac esp on an import it goes automatically onto rec that works the best and pumps the hardest unless it's raining then it goes to fresh because u want fresh air circulating in the car otherwise the windows fog up.

Yes,,,hitman1613 is right. I just went to the bank, turned my air on and it went directly to REC. So, Steven37, I think your A/C is fine... If you get a chance,,post photos of your headunit install...I always enjoy new photos.
