Default Amp install

I am sure this has been covered before but I cannot seem to find decent instructions. All I want to do is add a amp and a subwoofer to my car. I have the Bose Factory system with factory nav. I do not want to change out any of the speakers or add anything to the existing system. All I want is to add the amp and the sub. Should I tap into the wires in the sub behind the seat?

Before the flaming begins ... This is the wrong forum for this!

What amplifier do you have and what input does it take? If you've got line level inputs like +90% of the after market amplifiers and you connect it to the speaker level output of the Blose amplifier you're likely to do damage to the input circuits. That signal is also so distorted by the tiny Bloze amplifier in an attempt to equalize their "woofer" that a real speaker and amplifier is going to suffer.

It's best to connect a line level amplifier to the line level inputs to the Bloze subwoofer amplifier. There are some subwoofer systems designed to accept speaker level inputs - Infinity and Sony both make them,
