Default 2007 Enthusiast iPod Compatibility?

I hope I'm not just entirely overlooking a previous thread about this particular model, but I am having trouble finding any information regarding the 2007 Enthusiast model (non-Bose stereo) for iPod compatibility. Basically I want to know if there is a way to not have to buy an entirely new head unit (because I really like the look of the stock one to be quite honest) and still be able to hook up an iPod without going through an FM transmitter.

I had a Scion tC with an Alpine head unit previously and I loved how easy it was to use because it had the plug at the bottom and charged while it played. I have heard that in previous Z models that there was a jack on the back of the factory head unit that would allow for the iPod to plug in and essentially play how my other one did. If someone could please shed some light on this or even find me a thread already written about this I would be very appreciative. Oh, by the way, I just picked my car up on Tuesday and this is my first post on here. I love everything about the car so far and don't anticipate any changes. Thanks again and sorry for being so long-winded!

I'd like to know if an iPod hookup is available as well for the '07. The FM transmitter is just horrible.

I doubt it, They would advertise that fact I'm sure cuz its a selling point these days. I'll know soon enough as I'll be replacing my stereo as soon as I find some time.

I just converted about 700 of my songs to data and put them on CD's to play in the CD player. They do sell units that can plug into the head unit in the nav spot if you do not have a nav system however.

From what Best Buy and Great Sounds tell me, there is nothing "yet" available for an iPod hook up to the stock stereo system. Looks like if we want the iPod compatibility then it will have to be through a new head unit unfortunately (or crappy FM transmitter).
