Kenwood Bluetooth
Are you talking about the Kenwood KCA-BT100? I was thinking of getting it when before it came out. But now that its out, i haven't seen the best reviews for it. That and it costs $200. I'm probably going to end up with the Motorola T305, its got some good reviews and its cheap ~$60.

I have seen mixed reviews also but also the majority of the reviews are better than any of the other aftermarket headunit controled bluetooth.
Motorola has a few BT devices that i was looking at, the IHF1000 and the HF850. These are hardwired to the car, but the new T305 is just basically a BT headset but with speakerphone and a few buttons. Its simple and supposed to work real well. That and i really dont' feel like ripping apart the car again to put in the kenwood BT100. I'm curious, so leme know how it goes.

Hey guys I have the KCA-BT100 installed on my 6019. It works great as far as making and receiving calls. I had a razer and now I have the new BlackJack phone and they both worked just fine.
I have not tried to load my phone book though.

I would highly recommend getting one. You will not regret it.

I am doing the install myself.
I have the Motorola handsfree one but thinking bout ripping it out and going for the kenwood one. I have sound going through all four speakers and it sounds terrible. basically you connect it to your kenwood receiver just like a cd changer and runn the mic to your desired location. I currently have mine by the sunglass holder. You can get the KCA-BT100 on ebay for $150. Hopefully this thing offers caller id...

(I mounted it in the glove box because I have sirius and they have to be connected, it was easier running one wire to the back of the radio) I will try to post a picture tomorrow.

I just got an email from Kenwood techs. I asked if there was a way to manually enter numbers in the BT100 phone book since my phone will not download to it. Here is their reply:
"No there is not. You need unregister the phone with the bt100 then contact your cell phone company and ask them how to send single phone book entries to another bluetooth device. Then after sending them then register the phone with the bt100"
Pretty crappy design for a unit that almost $200, IMO.

This is all the information you should need on the KCA-BT100 even though it probably is not the information you want to hear.
