Hey everyone, just wondering if anyone's run into this problem before and can help me out. I just noticed that the controls for the gauge lights don't seem to be working. The lights still work, but it seems I am unable to dim or brighten them, which leads me to think it isn't a blown fuse. Anyone have any advice for fixing at home? Or is this something I have to take to the dealer? Thanks

 

That's odd. I'd go to the dealer...

Not to make any one sound stupid, but did you push front the front or the side? and did you try pressing on it multiple times, because I think it may just seem like its not working cuz the difference from each change is kinda small.

 

Probably obvious stuff, but just in case:

1) Did you "press and hold" instead of simply pressing and releasing the buttons?

2) Also... there are two buttons, one for brighter and the other for dimming.

3) The gauges' illumination level change to brighter with head lamps OFF to dimmer with head lamps ON.

Is that with the headlight or parking lights on, or with them off. When they are off the gauges just stay full bright.
