Default Wiring Valentine Radar without Homelink

Im getting my V1 this week and want to hardwire it, but I have a base Z so I dont have a Homelink mirror. Can someone give me a link or explain where I hardwire it to? Do I just need power/ground?

I have a V1 too and was considering hard wiring but opted not to. I have it mounted on the visor, because high is the best place and this way seems to keep it out of the sun and somewhat hidden from theives. Anyway I have mine wired around the top of the windshield, along the top of the door and down the side of the door (passenger, all in between the rubber and plastic so you can't see the wire) and then behind the passenger seat to the plug.

If you are actually wanting to hardwire it, you'll need to hardwire it to the fuse box, which is typically somewhere in the driver's wheel foot well (whatever it's called). You'll probably need to buy an add-a-circuit to put in the fuse box and such (I would talk to a guy in autozone, he could show you pretty easily i can imagine).

I would rather take advice from a child than someone from Autozone. I think I have someone who can help me though.

I hardwired mine to my acc wire from my radio. I wedged the wires in the headliner and ran them down the a pillar, under the dash, and to radio. hope this helps

If you have an 03-05, I ran it along the headliner, down the a-pillar, under the passenger dash to the cig / power point in the dash. Very easy.
