Double din Install Problem!!

Double din Install Problem!!
I just installed my Kenwood DDx-6019 with a metra double din kit, however, it doesn't sit flush by any means. How could I get this thing to sit flush with the bezel?
+1 on the drilling.
The holes I drilled for a nice flush mount were 3/8" back from the stock locations. I ended up with 3 holes instead of 4 but the mounting is just as tight.
I pulled the center console out of the car so it was much easier to work with. Its alot easier to do, IMO, with it out of the car. You can line up the bracket, the metra bezel, the HU, etc without being all jacked up inside the car.
